I am finding that the salt is really helpful, and I could not be more surprised! When I feel that sugar/starch craving coming over me, if I can remember to take it, a little salt on my tongue makes it fly away. My husband has commented on how long the cereal and chips are staying around lately.

We live in the desert, and my nose and lips are constantly dry and cracked and bleeding. This has been greatly helped by eating celtic sea salt. When my lips start getting " crackly " , it is a sure sign I have skipped the salt. It keeps my sinuses hydrated and my nose is finally healing inside.

That good salt just seems to help all round.I can drink it in water, but it is easier for me to put the salt in my mouth, and really taste it, then drink a glass or two of water to wash it down. It makes my mouth really wet, and I think it may be good for the salivary stones.

I am able to lose weight without getting dehydrated now. When I lose a pound I know its fat and not water, because I'm keeping my cells hydrated.-- Warmest Regards,Robin LittleRe: Insomnia From Iodine?? " ladybugsandbees " stephanie_a_buist

Wed May 7, 2008 7:12 am (PDT) Insomnia could be coming from your adrenals. Try taking 1/2 tsp of celtic salt in warm water before bed. That really helped me.
