I am going to a neuro-surgeon next week. My neurologist thinks

that I have carpel tunnel in my hands. It also appears that CMT may

be affecting my hands and arms now also. This will supposedly be

determined by the Dr. at the appointment. There is also a hand

hospital in Philadelphia that has a Dr. practising there that has

much knowledge about CMT. That is where I will be going for a second

opinion. My 11 years old son had nerve conduction studies done the

other day, and the only thing it showed was a decrease in the

sensitivity of the fingers on his hands. He will be going with me to

the Hand Hospital. I'll write more after my visit to see what the

Dr. says. Sharon
