Guest guest
Hello Joyce, rather than attempt to explain genetics, this URL will give you the info. you need for Type 1 and all. I have found 2 references for Type 1, both from Neurocast, the first says 70% of CMT is Type 1. The second now says 50%. Go figure! Here is the link which will explain what genes are involved. http://www.neurocast.com/site/content/sessions_hmsn.shtml I live in Solvang, California: in a beautiful valley filled with horse ranches and vineyards. 20 miles from the greatest beach and about 2-3 hours drive north from Los Angeles. I am doing well and starting to get ready to finish hydro-seeding both front and back yard with wildflower seeds. It seems all I can grow are roses and wildflowers! I had a good summer; it seemed to go by so fast - managed to read 9 of my 10 intended books, so I have extended that 'deadline' until Sept. 30! Also lost 24 pounds - just about my goal! :)I am slowly going vegan in my entire diet. Also now doing some much proscratinated artwork before the writing assingments come rolling in again! ~ Gretchen
