Hi , I prayed since I was 13 that my children wouldn't

have CMT. I should have been translated by now. My kids do have

CMT. So prayers or not you still have a 50% chance just like the

rest of us. My children show the CMT signs at 4. My prayers were

answered in a different way. I am learning to deal with it and

see my life's blessings in a different way and see the light.

Hey I am 15 now and my parents said they could tell that I had CMT

when I was about 5.

I have CMT and wathced for it early in both of my girls, now ages 9 &

10. With the 9 year old we still see no symptoms but we noticed

signs of CMT between 2-3 years of age on my oldest.

Now, just some personal opinion. I believe in the power of prayer

but I also accept that God answers prayers in different ways. My

father showed no signs of CMT until he was almost 60. Don't waste

too much of your precious time and energy worrying about something

you can't control. Just love your daughter and know that any

diagnosis will never change that love.
