Guest guest
My husband and I have been walking a mile at night. I hold his arm for support (I love this man). I feel dead when I get home. I hope it helps me to lose weight. In the cold I can't walk like this. Has anyone bought a tread mill that they can actually use? I am thinking about other walking options for winter. Guest guest
: When I was in physical therapy I was told to get a tread mill that had an auto stop and bars on the side that I could use to stabilize myself when I need to. He also suggested that I always have someone around in case I fall but I have learned enough to be able to feel when I am getting fatigued or weak and stop. The auto stop also helps because the machine stops immediatley when activated. He said that bars on the side were better than in front of me. I have not purchased on yet because I have a stationary bike that I use when I cannot get to walk outside but will be getting one for winter use.
