Guest guest
Betty, Human trials on NT-3, a type of Neutropin (nerve growth factor) were conducted about 5 years ago with good results. This research was conducted by Dr. Sahenk at Ohio State and with the Pharmeceutical company, Regeneron. Regeneron was subsequently bought by Sanofi-Adventis, and last we heard in the spring of 2010 I think, Dr. Sahenk has mouse trials going on which she spoke about at AAN's meeting, but I have not seen that published yet. Go to our Files - look in the CMT 1A file, also the file NT-3, alot of info on it there. Then also look in the Archives, type in 'NT-3' in the search box. There are other Neutrophin pre-clinical studies going on for cancer, ALS, etc. Gretchen
