Yes, Joyce, creatine has been in the CMT world for some time. I too

asked my Internist about it. He did a complete blood count at my last

yearly physical and it appears that my body is producing enough of it,

without adding anymore.

As for the Gabitril, while I have no experience with it, friends in the

MS community take it and report less of the first side effects that

Neurontin gives. Gabitril, I believe it is FDA approved for epilepsy,

like Neurontin is. But being used 'off label', like Neurontin and other

meds for CMT.
