What I've learned about Cortef or Isocort is that the goal is to

" recreate " the natural cortisol curve of a healthy individual, with

highest cortisol in the AM and decreasing from there.

As mentioned above, the Natural Thyroid Hormones Adrenals group does

And according to Peatfield, the thyroid meds should not even be

attempted to be increased until the adrenals are stabilized. More

Peatfield also says that some people may require more than 20mg of

cortef. Pulse rates of 41-55 is pretty serious business.
