I think I have posted here once before and have spent some time off

and on reading through all the good info here.

Here is my question of the day:

If I want to try iodine supplementation, what is the difference (aside

from external v. internal usage) between painting, using Lugol's

and/or taking Iodoral? I am looking for info re: efficacy, limiting

detox symptoms, etc.

I have Hashimoto's, am on 4 grains of Armour, have some level of

adrenal fatigue, am taking 12 pellets of Isocort (along with 8 caps of

an herbal adrenal support product - Perque Adreno Distress Guard).

I haven't ordered any Iodoral or Lugol's yet (where is the best place

to order from, btw?) I have some iodine from the drug store. I had

used it to see if I could get rid of a couple moles on my face (had

read about this at earthclinic.org)...I quit using it because my face

started breaking out with boil-like eruptions (not typical acne

eruptions). That was almost 4 weeks ago and my face it still breaking

out. (At the worst, I had 17 'boils' on my face!) I started taking

turmeric for this and, for the most part, it seems to be working.

Also, I have four girls (17, 15, 13, 11) who I suspect each have some

level of thyroid issues...would using iodine benefit them? Would

having them paint with the iodine I have be beneficial? Or is Lugol's

or Iodoral really the best way to go?

Sorry this has gotten long-ish...

TIA!
