Muscular Dystrophy or CMT?

I just thought of something..is CMT muscular dystrophy or a

separate disease? The reason for this question is I cannot get

PRIVATE health insurance,or reasonable health ins.,

because I stated I have MD. on my application. I read that CMT

is different from MD. I do understand on how it is different,but i

am not sure on how to lable my disease. When i stated on my

application that I had CMT, they were unable to classify it.

as soon as I said MD, they quickly rejected me. So does the MDA

who classifies CMT as one of their 40 diseases put me at a loss

when it comes to health insurance?
