Guest guest
, From what I know the biospy is only to satisfy the doctors curiosity. It will not tell you if your son has CMT. It will only tell you the condition of the nerve. It may rule out a few other disorders. I turned it down at 14 when the Shriners hospital said they would like to do it. They understood 100% and even agreed that there was no point. Why put the trama on an already damaged nerve? I am 35 now with 3 kids that have CMT. Until we have a treatment I will keep them away from all painful tests.
