Guest guest
Hi Everyone I would welcome some advice as I had a pretty scary incident last night. I am on 75 mcg of levothyroxine which I have been on for a long while. Its just 2 weeks tomorrow since Dr Burrows added 10 mcg of T3 to take in addition to the levothyroxine. I take the T3 in the morning and the T4 at night. Everything seemed to be going well I was feeling better. However I was woken from my sleep last night 2 hours after taking the T4 with palpitations it felt as though my heart was bursting out of my chest and it was running at around 110 beats per minute but not regular. This went on for three hours with me trying to relax and calm it down. It has now settled back to normal. I was too frightened to take the T3 this morning but I dont really want to stop it. I was wondering whether I should cut down my T4 as they happened 2 hours after taking that. any advice would be gratefully received,as I am in a bit of a quandry about what the next step should be. Thanks love Lizzie
