A new poll has been created for the group: How do you manage 'holiday stress'? o I pace myself, do what I can and ask family and/or friends for help o I decorate everything and anything o I forget I have CMT and end up tired and worn out from all the work o I shop on-line and from catalogues o I shop in stores; I love the hustle and bustle, seeing people and decorations, but I do get tired o I pace my shopping - start earlier in the year o I don't send cards; writing is too hard o I send cards pre-printed with my name and our family newsletter/and or hand write cards and notes o I pay attention to my stress level and take breaks often o I get extra sleep and or/naps o At parties I am careful I don't eat or drink too much o I limit my social life to a few parties and family gatherings o I love the holidays; this is my favorite time of year o Bah Humbug! I am a Scrooge! Holidays make me sad and depressed o I volunteer in my community to help bring good holidays to the less fortunate in some way o CMT limits me and what I can do, so I keep things simple o I have a " Christmas-free zone " in my house, reminding me to rela and drop the holiday 'bombardment' o I attend concerts; and/or sing to carols o I attend services o When buying gifts, I ask the store to wrap and label them so my hands don't work so hard o For large gatherings, we use nicely decorated paper plates o I stay with my exercise/stretching program and other routines o I bake too much/and or eat too much o I drink only alcohol-free refreshments o other: please post your 'stress-less holiday tips " to To vote, please visit the following web page: /surveys?id=1003232 Note: Please do not reply to this message.
