Hi I am also A PCOS girl - I am no longer taking Glucophage/metformin

due to stomach issue and I have been taking iodine in the form of

iodoral. I just did a search for " PCOS " and " Iodine " and I was

reminded that it is suggested that Metformin ought to be stopped prior

to any procedure where iodine-based X-ray dye is used -- I think that

the reason is has to do with kidney function and therefor an

increases the risk of lactic acidosis -- is that correct?

If so, I was wondering if a similar risk might apply iodine

supplementation while also on metformin.

Also, could someone suggest a good site to look up possible

interactions between drugs, supplements, herbs etc? I think I have

heard that such a thing exists.
