Guest guest
My Feet and legs work a lot better in the warmer climates. I live in central Ca. so we have good weather most of the year. Then we are close to retirement, and are looking at Arizona and New Mexico to live because of the year round climate. Lived in Yuma Arizona for a year and enjoyed the great weather Stout
Guest guest
Hey All, In response to and her question about heat and the way it tends to make those with CMT feel..I live in Florida and as we know Florida tends to get muggy and sauna like real early into the season and last well into October and November...for me the heat tends to tire me out quickly...it doesn't really affect my hands and feet all that much...I do tend to cramp up more during our short cold spell though. On to other news..I was fitted for a leg brace by a specialist on Friday...my first in almost 25 years..at least I did not have to explain to him what CMT stood for...he knew as soon as he saw my foot that I was not associated with the other CMT(County Music Television!!!).Anyway,I hope all is well with everyone... linda

At times it can be frustrating, but I get over it quickly. E Hello Everyone, Well, gee it's been so quiet lately. Let's get the list talking because we have some new members. Any questions from the new members? Here's a question....How do we as CMTers do in the warmer temperatures (assuming it is warmer in your area)? I for one function better in the warm weather rather than the cold. My hands move better and my feet seem to function better as well. Guest guest
Hi there Ladybug, I live in sdale AZ. and yes the warm weather is wonderful. When the barometer starts to rise I can feel the difference in my hands. I lost the sensation in my feet when I was in my twenty's. I am now 59 and my hands are going thru that awful time of ice and pain, they are not suppose to feel anything but even if our tests state no nerve response it is there. To those in the colder climates, I have a towel stuffed with rice, I put it in the microwave for two minutes and then wrap it around me hands it feels great. Anyone coming to AZ let me know.
