Guest guest
I read your response to Fran regarding AFO's. I don't have them yet, but I see my neurologist next month, and I know he's going to push me again to get them. You mentioned you retired your cane. I walk with a cane almost 100% of the time, and I'm curious why you could give yours up. My cane stabilizies my balance, without it I would fall or bump into things. And what about walking? My legs fatigue after only walking a few yards, and I'm so incredibly slow. In fact, for mall shopping, etc., I use a wheel chair. Do you think the AFO's would change that? Also, do you think you could go without the AFO's (now that you have them) to dress up on occasion and use your cane again? Thanks!
