I had it done. I would do it again. I recommed it. It took a few months for

me to recover. It was worth it. When considering it keep in mind your foot

well be very restricted in movement. It won't go side to side and only up and

down a little bit. To go side to side your whole leg has to move. Like built

in AFOS.

Hi ,

Have had both ankles done and I would say go for it but I have had

foot reconstruction done as well and have never been better having

my left ankle done as soon as the can get a bed for me. I have been

on crutches for about 6 weeks afterwards.
