I would do it again. I recommed it. It took a few months for me to recover. It was worth it. When considering it keep in mind your foot well be very restricted in movement. Guest guest Posted October 6, 2002 Report Share Posted October 6, 2002 Hi , Have had both ankles done and I would say go for it but I have had foot reconstruction done as well and have never been better having my left ankle done as soon as the can get a bed for me. I have been on crutches for about 6 weeks afterwards. Aussie . A positive attitude ensures a positive quality of life. At , we are not a glum lot! We absolutely insist on enjoying life!
