EMG - to Toby

I have had several EMG's done in the last 6 years with varying degrees

of discomfort. Yes, it does involve needles, but they're small. I felt

some of them, and some barely at all. It's the twisting and turning of

the needles that gets uncomfortable - not the actual insertion. The pain

is certainly tolerable. I think the discomfort from the nerve conduction

studies is actually a little worse. Check out this web site for some more

information: http://www.teleemg.com

Good luck.
