Guest guest
Everyone does not lose at the same rate. On my first round I had done 21 days and had only lost 8 pounds. This round I am doing much better, but this is because on the first round I found what did and didn't work for me in regards to the protocol. As to the apple day I would not even bother. In the protocol it says that it is something that is done to make the patient feel like they are accomplishing something (something to that extent). Do you have a copy of the original protocol? There are a lot of them floating around that have been altered. In the original you are not allowed to mix vegetables. You are only allowed 500 calories/day. It should not say anything about Stevia and oranges should be included in the fruit list. You should also be drinking at least 2 liters of water/day. I am now on my second round and I am losing much faster this time. I am on day 24 and down 19 pounds. You have to also make sure that you are having proper BM or you will not lose properly. This has been my problem this round. With the reduced food intake it takes longer for the food to move through the bile. Drinking proper amounts of water helps with this. I hope this helps.Nima From: madpeoplecrew@...Date: Mon, 7 Mar 2011 02:55:37 +0000Subject: Slow weight loss on the hcg diet. I really need some support. This is my third week on the hcg shots and I have only lost about 10 lbs. I even did an apple day and it didnt make a difference. I started out at about 181 and now I am at about 171 but the weight seems to be going up more than down. I dont know what to do. I spent a lot of money on this diet and it is not working so great for me. I expected more for everything reviews I have read and saw how much pound you can lose but that is not happening to me. I would think in 3 weeks I should have at least lost about 15-20 lbs already. please help!
Guest guest
Thanks Nima. I go to a weight loss clinic and I am following the protocol that they provided. I compared it the original protocol and it is quite similar. I don't know if some of the foods may not work with my body. I do drink a lot of water per day. At least 12 bottles. However, I am so disappointed. I have a weigh in tmrw and I need to have a serious talk with my counselor to see what might or might not be working for me. > > > Everyone does not lose at the same rate. Guest guest
Make sure you are using sea salt instead of regular salt. I also drank organic smooth move tea to help me "go". I also found that 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water with lemon and stevia seemed to help me lose. Guest guest
Thanks for the advice wendydabrusin. Yes, I do use sea salt in my meals or sometimes no salt at all. I will try the apple cider mixed and see how that works. I appreciate the tip! > > > > > > Everyone does not lose at the same rate. On my first round I had done 21 days and had only lost 8 pounds. Guest guest
Please do not be discouraged. There are many reasons people lose slowly. 1.Low thyroid 2 Need to poo - magnesium 1000 mg or more will help 3 eating hidden calories 4 the fruit or grisini 5 eating too much meat- weight the meat uncooked then cook I lost 21 lbs in a 40 day rounds and my girlfriend lost 30. I found I had low thyroid and also did not lose when I ate the bread and apple daily. From: madpeoplecrew <madpeoplecrew@...>Subject: Slow weight loss on the hcg diet.
