Guest guest
Dear Bob, I know words aren't enough to help what your going though. I too am 49, going through divorce, worked most of my life with my hands. You are an electrican, I had an alarm company. You had larger gauge wire, but still we both required a lot of hand an finger ability. Your symptoms sound alot like mine. I have been under doctor and MDA care for over 10 years and just this past May my doctor said it would be in my best physical interest to file for social security disability. My last visit when I talked to an MDA doctor, he told me that most CMT patients he has at our ages who have used there hands over their life, have problems that lead them to stop working. YOUR NOT ALONE but you need to see your doctor and look into an MDA clinic. I am new to this group, but these people here are great and I'm sure they will guide you in the right direction. Keep in touch and I will try to help you any way I can. JOHN
