Guest guest
I'll be starting the program in about a week. I have a couple questions, though. First of all, a person should drink half their body weight in ounces daily, when it comes to water intake. If a person has a lot to drink, will that cause any fluid retention, resulting in less weight loss? Secondly, I know it is important on the first two days (gorge days), to eat a lot of " good fat " foods. What are some ideas of the best foods to load up on? And will it hurt to indulge in just a few " bad fat " foods, better known as junk food? Thirdly, does it matter when you start the diet, in relation to how close you are to beginning your menstrual cycle? Also, I know there are no vitamins permitted on this diet. Is B-12 permitted? Too, are natural supplements OK to use? I have a family history of low thyroid problems. I have not been diagnosed with it, but I do have some difficulty losing weight. There is a " seaweed " called KELP, that I take in capsule form. It is good for anyone who may have thyroid problems, and needs to lose weight. I've been doing well with it. Is it OK if I continue this during the diet, since it is all natural? Lastly, I read the posts on here where a lot of people talk about drinking the protein drinks. Is this needful on the diet?
