Hey girls... I went up to Transformations yesterday and it was quite an experience. The people there were really nice and helpful. The only thing is, their program is not exactly like Simeons protocol. I listened to what they had to say, paid for my hCG and went on my way knowing that I am going to follow Simeons to the letter!!! I have my hCG in hand and am ready to start tomorrow, June 2nd. My husband wanted to join me in the gorge portion of this so we're saving it for Saturday and Sunday. It's gonna be a rainy weekend here in South Florida so we're gonna eat, nap, watch movies and ... well .. enough said. You get the picture!! LOL!! We'll all be pretty much on target for starting at the same time! I'll be here for moral support as I know you all will be too!!! Best of luck in shedding those unwanted pounds and may we never see them

again!!! Just a quick question for all of you in or past Phase 2 ... You take your hCG every day for 45 days, correct? Transformations only administers them 5 days/week and I asked for 7 days/week and they gave it to me. Also, can anyone tell me the difference between injecting in muscle and injecting in fat (stomach)??? I'd like to know the diff cuz the place I went to gave me needles for injecting into the stomach and I really don't want to wait to get different needles. Okay sweetie ... that's 25 lbs in only 3 WEEKS!!! That's awesome!!! WAY TO GO!!! YIPPEE!!! INCREDIBLE!!! You are definitely my hero!!!! But, what's more amazing ... 20 INCHES!!!!!! Holy cr*p!!! You must look totally re-shaped! That's a LOT of inches!!! I can't wait to see pics!!! I have to ask .. as one 48 yr old to another ... how's your skin? Any hanginess??? That's my biggest fear ... the hangy skin! And funny you should say that about your skin. Even though I've only taken hCG since last Saturday, I have already noticed that I don't need any moisturizer after my shower! I still like to use it though to keep this golden Florida tan well lubed!!! Don't want to LQQK like

those "blue hairs" with the skin of leather! LOL!!! <By the way, I was planning on getting a shower filter and changing my shampoo/conditioner, soap, deodorant, body lotion, etc. as KT recommends, but I haven't done any of that and as of today, have lost 12 lbs since starting June 2nd.> You've got to feel GREAT even though this week was a bit slower for you! I'm soooo proud of you, Sharon! Have a WONDERFUL weekend and we'll chat more later!!! Debbie Sharon T

-debbie, I am only 32 but I'm the king of sag (lol) In 6 years time

I lost 100lbs some of it from getting off pile of pharaceuticals.

Plus almost 2 years ago the birth of my son. I've had a weight

issues since almost 4years old. (I definetly fit siemons description)

for genetic malfunction! Anyways I was scared to death of the

sagging skin becoming more of an issue but it seems like I can see my

belly almost lifting if that makes sense. I will be able to tell

more when 20-30 lbs come off but I'm hoping it will fix all my

sagging skin issues. That's the only reason I haven't posted pics

for now. I can definetly already see a change in the way my body

looks. You have had great results too! I feel great. I have also

noticed a Big increase in my sense of smell like pregnancy too.

Wonder if anyone else has. Jodie

Hi Jodie, I have to go back to the dentist on Monday, my tooth chipped & created a pocket in my gums where food falls in and keeps getting infected. I think the antimicrobial wash is slowing my weightloss down a little. Cause I had 3 no loss days this week, although I did manage to still lose 7lbs. Don't know how that worked but, I won't complain. Anyway, glad to hear you are doing so well. Have an awesome night! Sharon

Jodie... Thanks for sharing your story! It's really encouraging to hear different stories about our battles with weight ... some for years and years and some for just a few years. Whatever the time frame, we're all in the same boat. That is so cool that you can already see a difference in your body! I hope this is the miracle "cure" I think it is!!! Hi Deb, Well yes and no. My boobs still sag but I think I need surgery for that! LOL As far as skin from losing weight NO NO NO!!! Infact things are tighter and the cellulite is leaving the building I mean bod! Hasn't left completely but it seems to be doing a mass exodus. So do not worry about that at all! Wait till you see for yourself you're going to be stoked. The only hanging you'll be having is with your friends. As far as a shower filter, I didn't get one cause I have three huge shower heads and there isn't any filter to fit them. My naturopath says that one is really important though! I tested my tap water and found it contains pesticides probably from the lawns. Its in everyone's water thats why I'd like to invest in a reverse osmosis system for my house but haven't parted with the moola for that yet. My doctor also says that cleaning products As far as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, deoderant & makeup, no moisturizer, I use the following: Magick Botanicals Shampoo & conditioner, Organics, Tom's lavender deoderant (which works great) & bare minerals makeup. I wish there was a oil free sunscreen out there, I don't like not using one, that certainly leads to shoe leather skin! So I've been trying to limit my sun time which isn't easy during the summer. But its only for 3 more weeks then again for 3 to 6 weeks starting in Mid August. I remember the days of slathering on baby oil and using a sun reflector to sizzle. Have a great weekend too! Fr. Dave.. your sense of humor is still intact... and that's great!!!

We gotta keep laughing right!?

I have been wondering if there are any joints in my nose! Seems like new

joints are hurting all the time and me too on the hands, brother!!! I am

losing function of some joints I never had trouble with before!!

Thanks for posting.. you are an inspiration to me.... you can always know

that even if your prior capacitiy is limited, you are still of great

benefit to others through your ministry to me and others via this list.

> As we know, these diseases and the medications we take for them give us a real

" gas " problem, but now I cannot smell it anyway which can be quite embarrassing

at times. On Friday evening, one of our neighbour's dogs decided he wanted to

kiss a skunk, of course the skunk did not like that and sprayed the dog and the

fence behind the dog. I heard a commotion in our back yard so went out to see

what Miss Silky was up to. Hazel asked me if I could smell the horrific odour

hanging heavily in the air. I said no, so she had to check and make sure Miss

Silky did not try the same thing. Hazel was gagging out there, it was so bad.

Thanks Liz

My hands are so bad first thing in the morning that I do not dare try and

pour myself a cup of coffee. Hazel has to do that for me as I do not have

the strength in my hands to do so.

My doc has to cover all the bases in prescribing more pain killers for me as

anyone taking OxyContin and Percocets are watched like a hawk. Folks that

misuse the drugs have made it very hard for those of us that require them

for the rest of our lives. I have one young pharmacist at our regular

pharmacy who makes me wait up until one day before my refill date to pick up

my OxyContin which usually means an extra trip into Medicine Hat and with

the cost of fuel today it is an extra burden on us financially. We try and

get our stuff done and only have to go in about once a week or even two

weeks. I had to use the van a week and a half ago and it took 20 bucks of

gas per round trip into The Hat. I blew through a hundred bucks so quickly

it made my head spin.

I am also having more nerve involvement in my Lumbo Sacral Spine with bowel

and bladder problems which is not a good sign at all. Of course falling off

a ladder a week or so ago did not help any.

I just love these wonderful diseases.

Blessings

Fr. Dave

Not all NSAID have aspirin in them. Aleve, is aspirin free and I believe

Advil is. Aleve is a good aspirin free NSAID, I'm taking two tablets/twice a

day

after 30 years of Indocin (which started causing intestinal problems) It

has anti-inflammation properties and pain relief. A stronger NSAID is Indocin.

Advil is a pain reliever, but does not do anything about

swelling/inflammation. Has your doctor mentioned any of these NSAID?

You are right, Margie. I knew it was classified as an aspirin free NSAID.

Don't know or remember why I thought it would not do anything for

swelling/inflammation. Maybe it is because I take it for headache pain and had

stopped

taking it for my AS pain long ago. I did take ibuprofen (motrin) many years

ago....before I had to go to the Indocin and other things.

Aleve (naproxen), at two tablets/twice daily, seems to be almost as

effective as the Indocin was, and it hasn't caused my IBD to flare up...like the

Indocin was doing. I try to decrease the dose on " good? " days.

I take vicodin pretty regular...it has tylenol in it...which at high

doses...can effect the liver. I have regular blood tests....for kidney/liver

functions. The dance we have to do....to live, a more or less, normal life.

Dear Fr. Dave,

It appears to me that you, and most of us need to try a new group of

doctors. Don't tell them your just trying them out, and don't let them get

medical

records from your doctors - get them yourself and transfer them to the new

doctors. Numerous opinions and new faces can bring about physical miracles.

1. I do not trust most doctors and have dumped at least a hundred over the

last 30 years - I have had some minor ailments and drug reactions - they did

not have the correct approach - after a few to many visits I decided they are

jerks.

2. The last batch of doctors I dumped include a gp, a physicians

assistant, a urologist including his stupid physicians assistant, 3

dermatologists, 2

internal medicine dr's, 4 infectious disease dr's, 2 Rheumatologists, a

physical medicine doctor / pain doctor (I told him I hurt all over - he offered

me

physical therapy ??? for what - every part of my body. I still need an

Internist or Family Practice doctor with some brains. 90 percent of doctors

can't apply medicine / with their god given caring powers (like your mom had)

and get you fixed. Stay away from any clinics and doctors that care do welfare

people - they ar bottom suckers.

3. Make sure you do not tell the doctors that you are seeing other doctors

for the same thing.

4. Pneumonia can, and often does kill you. Get it once - you better clear

it up. Get back you must clear it up. Get it the 3rd time & you are probably

going to die - these are old traditional hand me down statistics from my

family care givers - I had 27 aunts & uncles - they would now be over 110 years

old - they knew how to take care of most of your ailments better than the 90%

of doctors I talk about.

Best of luck

Greg

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and thank you for your support during the

time before during and after my son had surgery.  He is doing very well and is

back at college functioning independently for the most part.  He needed

assistance carrying all of the books he needed for his classes from the

bookstore due to the current weight restriction and he still can't bend over all

the way because it has not been six months yet but overall he is doing well, in

a good frame of mind and not in pain.  Once in awhile he said he will feel a

restriction and he still can't bend over all the way because it has

not been six months yet but overall he is doing well, in a good frame

of mind and not in pain.  Once in awhile he said he will feel a

slight discomfort or odd feeling which lasts momentarily but they are

few and far between.  Hopefully in time that will cease as well.

Wishing you all the best and many many thanks, Gail

I just finished my R1 D30 so no drops for me today, I will see how the 3 days

goes, then start P3, it is a little scary. I hope I am not too hungry on the 3

days with no drops with the 500 calories. I started at 210.2 & this morning

193.7, So I lost 16.5 on the vegeterian diet. Most people who eat meat do

better. But I am very happy with my loss. I am ordering more HCG now so that I

will be ready in another 6 weeks.

Hi Liz

Hope you get some clearer info from your CAT scan. Do they know what it

is?? I have Sjogrens also and wonder what it effects. I have made some

drastic changes lately in my diet and I am seeing some results. I went to a

Naturopathic doctor and she listened to me for 2 1/5 hours. Doing a

modified fast a couple days a week has really helped with the food cravings.

And my dry mouth has improved.

Keep us posted on how you do with your tests.

God Bless you.

Hugs

Priscilla

Hi Liz,

I wasn't familiar with sjogren's syndrome and I just looked it up briefly and

they do mention the lungs... I do hope you will be OK.
