Guest guest
Good morning My name is Sue D and I live in southern Illinois. I've said many times that I cant think about needing to lose 150 pounds because it's just too overwhelming. So I think about just 5 pounds at a time. I can handle that a lot better. I gave up sugar and macaroni products. They were my trigger foods. A trigger food is any food that triggers an uncontrollable craving in you. In other words, it's an addiction. I can eat fruits and veggie's all day long and they don't trigger that craving but just let me have a serving of sugar or pasta and the craving beast is back. I've been working at my diet since March 29th and I've dropped about 25 pounds. I say about because I lose it one day and the next day it's back as water filling the empty fat cells. But I just keep on working at it and a week or two later I spend a day doing a lot of pee'ing. Then I lose a few more pounds. And the cycle begins again. Frustrating. Sue D Third day Hi All,Been trying to get it together. Been gaining and losing the same 10 pounds since April. This is the third day of honest to goodness calorie counting. (Using Fitday, What an eye opener to see the calories and carbs in black and white). I give up on the "magic stuff". I like food. The only thing that is going to work for me is to eat less of the things I like. I also need to make better choices when possible. Like last night, a slice of cheese on whole wheat bread was more filling than an ounce of chips. I know there will be days I will choose the chips. Hopefully I can feel satisfied with an ounce and not have to eat the whole bag. Also trying to focus on smaller goals and not look at the big picture. Trying to lose 150 pounds is overwhelming, but losing 5 might be doable. I also need to take one meal and snack at a time. A wrong choice doesn't have to set me up for an all out binge. Anyway. Just wanted to check in and say hi. Hope everyone has a great day! in WV

Guest guest
This is my third day of no HCG, but still on 500 cal. I have still not figured out what I will eat tomorrow. Or how I will approach this. I hope I can eat more after the diet is all over. I will be doing at least 2 more rounds. I have lost more weight yesterday & today. Am I suppose to try to maintain the weight I had on thursday which was my last day of HCG, as opposed to what I will be tomorrow? I have lost 1.6# since then.
