Thanks for your post. Your message made me wonder just what dosage

I was on. I thought I was on the smallest but somehow last May, 2001

the dosage was increased to 25 mg. I don't remember it being

increased by the doctor and presently believe it was increased, in

error, by either the pharmacy or doctor's office. I have a call in

to the doctor so we will see what he says. Anyway I will take your

sage advice and work with the doctor on dosage or other options. I

am so glad that your email lead me to discover the dosage increase.

Solving this little mix up will certainly increase the quality of my

life.

In the drug listing of drugs that you are not to take because of the

effects it has on people with cmt the amtripllyne is one of them. look up cmt

and the drugs not to take it will be listed, I also was put on it and had the

same side effects. The doctors put me on nuerontin and I feel and sleep much

better. Good luck and god bless.

(Amitriptyline is NOT on the drug list)
