Guest guest Posted February 12, 2008 Report Share Posted February 12, 2008 This is my second round in P3. The first round was a disaster. I did not follow the rules and gained weight. Now on my second round I am doing much better. I am 1lb over my LIW and it has been like that for two weeks, I eat SOOO much and do not gain an ounce. But, when I started my period on 02/08/08 I have gained weight. I am now 4.5lbs from the weight I began my period. I know it's not fat, it's all water. My body fat % is still the same from before so should I be concern and do a steak day? I know Dr. S says in the event of weight gain over two lbs you must skip meals and do a large steak at night but he never discuss enough on women menstruation. I want to know from other women's experience on how they deal with it. Before ever doing this protocol I always gained weight during my period and most of the time I will lose it after I'm finished. Tomorrow will be my last day so I am debating whether to do enough steak days to lose the 4.5lbs. I have heard or supplements and teas that will prevent weight gain during periods, and water retention can you please share.
