Guest guest
, I understand your concern, but in my case, having full inshoe orthotics, now when I walk, I am forced by the dynamics to a heel - toe gait - this wider part allows the width of my foot to expand AND have support, and the longer part allows the toes to expand and have support. Because no my hammertoes can stretch out when I walk, I need that extra room in the toe area. I was 'asked' by my orthotist, however, to be careful with walking at first, but really the full orthotics and rollbar technology made me feel so good at walking, I didn't have any problems. When my hammertoes are flattened and straightened the orthotist discovered my shoe size is an 8! Besides casting both feet in order to make them, he also had straightened them and made drawings of them straightened out.
