Guest guest
This line Joyce wrote below, struck me once again. Due to an inordinate amount of stress and trauma in my life, my Dr. suggested I try taking Sinequan. He said " it's just like Elavil " . So, I took it for 2 weeks. In which I looked up a few things via the Internet and found Sinequan causes uncoordinated movements (might explain 3 falls in one week - where usually I have 3 a year!) AND the Sinequan also causes peripheral neuropathy! (which might explain why the pain resurfaced) I took this information to him and again he said " it's just like Elavil " and I had to reapply, " For me, Sinequan and Elavil are two entirely different meds with different effects and because I am having these all of a sudden problems with Sinequan, I prefer not to change medications; so I am back on Elavil, in an extended dose and feeling much better. I even took him the chemical breakdown charts for both medications and the accompanying text... I am no chemist, but I can read, and those medications ARE in the same class, yes, but worked totally differently on me. We are all so different. If anyone out there is taking Sinequan, I'd be interested to hear how/if it works for you. ~ Gretchen Joyce S wrote: > dr's don't know too much about living with these symptoms on a daily basis.
