Again, Janet, welcome to and thank you for posting your

introduction. Just recently this summer I was found to be anemic, so for

about 6 weeks now have been taking Blackstrap Iron tablets 2X a day. I

will get retested for the anemia the first of October, but I can tell a

difference already - feeling much less fatigue and stronger in general.

I am taking the Iron under the care of my Internist.

Hope you enjoy the group.

Janet,

An FYI to add. If the public school system cannot provide the proper access

and/or assistance for your child, then I believe the state has to pay for

private education. My son does not have CMT (as of now, thank goodness) but has

ADHD and other learning disabilites. I too got him on an IEP and it allows him

to have certain things, such as extra time for tests, and written instructions

in addition to verbal instructions. With a medical diagnosis, this IEP program

can follow your child all the way through college, so crucial to get started as

soon as you can. You would be surprised how much the school can do to assist,

unfortunately you usually have to find out from other parents.

Good luck and my prayers also go out to you and your daughter. She sure does

sound special.

My son did an educational brochure on CMT for a school project. If I can find

it, I would be happy to send it. Could help your daughter explain her conditions

to her friends in an easy to read format.
