Guest guest
Happy to say that my toe bone infection is officially all better. Took cipro for 8 weeks and today Dr. canceled my hospital IV's, bone scrapping, and all the rest. Still my toe is curling under but I am watching it and wearing that " toe ring " to make it uncurl. Read with great interest about riding the car brakes. When I had drivers ed in high school (1954) the teacher always talked about riding the brakes and I have been thinking about it when I drive. I approach the red light slowly which often angers the car behind me, but we meet again at the red light. I use to take my AFO's off when I drove. Now I drive with them on and I think I am heavier on the gas and brakes because I can't tell if I'm heavy or light. BUT, I always scrape my shoes under the pedals. This makes me unhappy because my expensive shoes look a mess. Anyone else have that trouble? Also, my feet sometimes burn. They have been burning for years, even with Elavil or Neuronton. I guess I learned to live with it. Joan
