Guest guest
I don't have a lot of pain, but I do have occasional twitching and it drives me crazy. I seem to have internal and external twitching - at least that's the way I try to explain it. The external twitching is normal twitching - the internal and the most maddening just feels like a ... well, I can't even describe it, but it is awful and causes me to lose sleep. While we're on the subject, have any of you experiences any strange sensations around the rib-cage? For years, at least 13 years, my ribs (at time - more frequently recently) feel kind of like they're trying to push out and I have to apply pressure to get comfortable. That is what really causes me more loss of sleep - it's awful. The neurologist has asked me to get a chest x-ray - haven't been able to do that yet - but I go back to her today and I'm hoping that she can figure something out. Guest guest
Fran, by twitching do you mean tremoring or tremors? Now if is is that, drives me crazy too. Just glad I have a med for it. And ribs? A car accident crushed about 6 ribs 12 years ago - it seemed like forever. I really feel for you. I DO encourage you to get a chest X-ray so your doc can help. Also wondering about your sleep position, when my ribs were broken, the only sleep I got was laying on one side, fetal like. ~G
Guest guest
When I'm trying to sleep, it doesn't matter what position I'm in - I have to apply pressure to the ribcage to get comfortable and then it's really one passably comfortable... not 100 comfortable. Thanks for your comments - I will get that chest x-ray. I'm just happy to find a doctor that's willing to help me! Fran >Challenges Met Together here at ! Guest guest
Forgot to say - it's probably tremoring (new to this list and the CMT verbiage!). Fran >Challenges Met Together here at !
