Guest guest
To the Brown Family, No, if a family member has a definitive diagnosis, like CMT 1A, done through genetic DNA testing, then the other members of the same family who have CMT will also have Type 1A. However, their symptoms may be different. Was your husband DNA tested? If so, what were his results? Also, what is the history of CMT in your family? Mother/Father/Grandparents/Great Grandparents, cousins, etc? Gretchen
