Guest guest
Murillo, In my experience with CMT (which I too have had just about all my life) my potential has not been affected. If anything, dealing with physical challenges has made me have to THINK MORE and CREATIVELY sometimes about how to do things physically using less energy. While my own CMT primarily affects my foot muscles and nerves, everyone is different in how CMT will affect them. I know my attitude and mood can also affect my CMT, so I constantly work on 'an attitude of gratitude' - for even the simplest things. As for 'potential' - I am guessing you mean use of your brain. CMT does not affect the brain; matter of fact in my case, it is the most used muscle I have and just seems to get better. I also purposely stimulate my brain - games, puzzles, writing, reading, and chess, to keep my brain in shape. Hope this helps. ~ Gretchen
