Guest guest
Bonnie, For soaps I like www.http://addy.com/brinkley/, www.glorybee.com and www.sweetcakes.com although some of their FO's can be purchased through the first addy at cheaper prices. For shea butter I found www.camdengrey.com. hope these will help. SD SUPPLIES > HI I WAS WONDERING WHERE WOULD BE THE BEST PLACE TO GET SUPPLIES FOR > SOAP AND TOILETRIES. Guest guest
Several months ago I did ask as to whether she would be so kind as to update but no response. I think it is a great concept and still very helpful. SD SUPPLIES > > > > > > HI I WAS WONDERING WHERE WOULD BE THE BEST PLACE TO GET SUPPLIES FOR > > SOAP AND TOILETRIES. Guest guest
The best thing about that site is it gives you lots of choices to check out and from what I see, the ratio of price differences (even if prices have gone up) remain the same...the wholesalers that are less expensive, remain so...and so on. Guest guest
Hi Donna; I filled out an order form yesterday to Liza & for some Mica. How long does it take them to reply with the amount of postage. I am very anxious to get this order completed and to get my mica. Glad to hear that someone on the list has done business with them. I found their site by typing in mica recipes in Google. Raven

Guest guest
Hi All, I need more help, I make transparent soap from scratch and am looking for colours that will stay transparent, the colours we have here in Australia go opaque. Maybe the M & P soapers may be able to help me out here. Aussie soapers suggest Lab Colours, who do you guys recommend? All help is greatly appreciated as I have come up against a brick wall!! Guest guest
, try your local pharmacy, they will likely have both, just speak to the pharmacist. The menthol is used in a lot of cold remedies, and the lanolin is used by breast feeding mothers to help prevent thier nipples from cracking. Hope this helps :-)

Cheaper than the grocery store. Wal-Mart does well on the price of epsom salts. Tadco is in the regional mkt. where Lori's is. It's a cool store, with lots of items you won't find anywhere else for baking and cooking--and even cosmetics, although they probably don't know it, LOL. What kind do you need some of us might have some to spare actually.. Where is Tadco? I've never heard of that store. I live in Ontario , east of Rochester. Good luck! Shaye Supplies Greetings.... Guest guest
Hi Shaye I will wander down to the grocery and see what I can find! As for Tadco, it is in the same place as Lori's...just a couple of buildings down but still in the Regional Market. They mainly are a supply place for baking...spices etc. The shipping is my biggest concern on the items we need to get so I figured I would send my plea out to everyone for some local help!! Guest guest
Kristie, As Shaye suggested, let us know what kind of botanicals you need before your buy them at the grocery store! Some of us may be able to help out. Shipping on them probably wouldn't be much either, www.BlueMountainBotanicals.com Re: Supplies Hi Shaye I will wander down to the grocery and see what I can find! Guest guest
I have quite a few botanicals at the shop that I'll gladly donate. Email me your address, if you're interested, and I'll put them in the mail to you. Also, I've found the bulk section at Wegman's carries quite a few bulk herbs and spices at good prices. ette Salt City Soapworks (paulette(at)saltcitysoapworks.com) > > Greetings.... > I am starting my search for supplies for an upcoming craft day with a > group of youth. Guest guest
I also want to add that you should try frequenting big lots once in a while. They tend to carry some stuff. A year ago I scooped up several nice sized packages or DEAD sea salts. Checking prices it was a really good deal. I also got some of that Collidal oat powder once. wished i picked up more. Speacking of which tops doesn't seem to cerry the oat flour anymore do they?? THey carry wheat and others but not the oats. Does anyone know who does? Guest guest
Hi Fran - unfortunately, there is a shortage of ALL natural thyroid extract  - this includes Armour, Westhroid, Nature Throid. It is not just International Pharmacy - it is all the pharmacies who distribute them. The problem with Customs and the Royal mail Handling fee is that this applies to most packages that come into this country from outside of the EU. Packages are stopped if they are over £18 in value - and a Customs charge is slapped on, then it is sent to the Royal Mail, who also have their cut. However, as far as I understand it, the Royal Mail do not destroy the package, they send it back to the person who sent it if it is not picked up, so it is likely your drugs were sent back to IP after 20 days. I have always advised members to contact IP if they are unable to afford the charges and IP have often sent them out another package in the hope that that one will escape Customs. I am not sure how long it was since this happened to you, but write to Afshin@... and see if there is any way this situation could be rescued. You can get a generic natural thyroid extract which I understand is excellent - called Thyroid-s. You can buy this much cheaper than anywhere else from www.medicapharmac.com . The T4 and T3 is the same as in Armour Thyroid - the fillers are different, but it has a good following. When completing the online order form, they ask you to put in your Social Security Number for tax purposes - some of us got stuck with this, but it really doesn't matter - I put the last 3 numbers of my credit card - and it was accepted. You can buy 1000 tablets for around $72 (this includes postage and VAT) Luv - Sheila Hi, sorry to just dip in like this but I'm getting quite worried now. When the worldwide shortage of Armour manifested itself a while back I had no option but to switch to Westhroid. Thankfully, I found it worked just as well and had the added benefit of being more affordable. The trouble is that now there also appears to be a worldwide shortage of Westhroid. InHouse Pharmacy from whom I order it haven't had any available for ages and International Pharmacy, who have some in stock, are so expensive that I cannot afford to order either Westhroid or Armour from them. International Pharmacy's med price itself isn't the problem but the £8.30 postage is, plus every single time I've ordered from them it's been stopped at Customs and so has cost me an extra £26 on top... making it horrifically pricey. In fact, about a year ago I just couldn't afford to get one order released at all and had to leave it with Royal Mail who apparently destroy 'unwanted' items. Devastatingly cruel given that I'd already paid for the meds themselves but just couldn't raise enough money to cover the duty and the postal levy. Anyway, the bottom line here is... does anyone know where I can *affordably* get either Westhroid or Armour? I'm down to just over a week's supply now, so do need to order some swiftly. Huge thanks, in advance, for any help or advice. Fran x No virus found in this incoming message.
