Guest guest
HI all I have just come to the end of my first HCG phase 2 protocol. I have been injecting 200iu HCG pregnyl for the last 45 days. At the start of this phase, forty five days ago I weighted 282.4 pounds. Having finished I now weigh 237.2 pounds. That is a total weight loss of 45.2 pounds. Now as u can imagine I am very happy with this I am also looking forward to starting phase 3 due to the fact it will be so good to not have to go anywhere near a chicken breast for a little time. I will now commence phase 3, happily for a period of 6 weeks before starting again with the injections, where I hope to lose another 40 pounds which will take me down to my goal weight and a normal score on the bmg chart of 24. I thought this message would be a good opportunity to comment on my thoughts of the diet. I will start with the bad points that way I can finish on a high with the good points. Firstly and most importantly people need to realise this diet is not all its cracked up to be by the king of the con merchants Tredeau. I do recommend that you read his book, it does have some good stuff in it and will help you with the protocol. However the only problem is all the good work in it is not his work. The man gets points for making the protocol more widely known, he just gets more points deducted for his constant ''website recommendations'' no doubt run by HIM and the simple fact half of what is wrote in it is just ridicules. I did not do anything on phase 1 not because I would not have liked to have tried something but because I live in the real world as do most of the people he is selling his book to. I could rant on all day about this guy however he is what we call in England a prat. End of story. Now as I said I did not do any of the things on phase 1 I just started straight with phase 2. Now this worked for me but I can not guarantee it will for everyone particle people in the USA. The reason I say this is because the UK and the European union tend to be a lot more strict on what goes into food than the US is. I visited the US last year in October and noticed the difference in what goes in to your food and drink compared to here. The water that comes from taps also has far less chlorine and such in it within the UK than in the USA. If this all makes a difference I could not say but if there is anyone out there debating about weather or not to do phase 1, I did not and phase 2 worked well for me. Ok please know before you start that you are really going to have to work hard on this diet, it is not the easy weight loss protocol master prat would have u believe when you read his book. He Is correct when he says you will not feel as hungry. For some reason for the first half of the 45 days I found it hard to eat an evening meal, I was not hungry at all . That died down after about twenty days but I never felt starving. However that is not what its about. The fact that after about two weeks u are sick of chicken and beef ( I don't like fish) is the problem and it's the reason u crave other things. Now I can be strict with myself and did not slip up once but it was hard to do so and I think people should know that before they start. Something's can be very misleading, making this diet out to be so easy you wont even want to eat anything bad for you ever again. The main point is if u want to be slim or slimmer u have to work for it and if you cant give up these foods then just be fat. We cant have it all. As mentioned earlier I took the injections and while it was not that much of a pain it can be very annoying after a time to inject every morning but like I said if I had not overeaten I would not be in this position. I do not know anything about taking the HCG orally. When I researched this diet I found that in a 45 day period the most someone had lost with that was 28 pounds. Not a great result if you ask me but hey each to there own. The other thing I do not find a very good idea is the fact you have to weigh yourself daily. I see why, I lost weight everyday and its very nice to see it happening. I just feel that its mentally unhealthy to be weighing yourself everyday and its a habit I plan on losing once finished on the protocol. The good points. The one thing the HCG does that is more important than anything else is to remove fat from the areas you hate the most. For me it was chest, hips and stomach. I still don't look like a Abercrombie model but I look a lot better and am very realistically happy with the visual results. I am afraid I am classically British with regards to my cynicism. I have read many post on here with people wondering why they or other posters are putting on weight. I kind of feel that if u eat loads of rubbish u will put weight back on, HCG or no HCG. I believe that if you exercise enough you should not have to worry about your weight so much and once finished I plan to continue with this frame of mind. For example I plan on eating some of the stuff I love a few times a week, while spending the rest of my time eating organic meat, veg, fruit and cheese and exercising much more. Reading back over what I have just wrote the bad section is somewhat larger that the good however the good ironically out weighs the bad significantly. The message I want people to know is that this diet works at losing weight for you and losing it from your problem areas. People Just need to know before hand that its hard work and you really need to give it your all but nothing comes for free and if you want to be slim you've got to fight the good fight. Remember nothing worth having is easy to come by. Finally I have personally not seen any information out there for people wanting to do HCG who are from the UK. IF there is anyone out there and you get a bit confused about where to purchase all the gear, supplies ect then please feel free to contact me and I will let you know where I got all my stuff from. We are actually quite lucky as the HCG most people purchase is sent from Greece and only took 5 day to get here and the rest of the supplies can be purchased via UK websites. I hope this helps some people. However you are, wherever you are please be assured HCG works and will work for you. Please feel free to email me if anyone would like any advice. I would be happy to help. Will
