DRIVING and CMT QUESTION:

I just got a new car a year ago (Honda Accord 2001). I have the car in

the shop

now to have new brakes/rotors put on. I previously have had other cars

and

seem to ruin the brakes/rotors. Husband and I have had many

disagreements on

what is the cause of this. I feel it is related to my splints and the

way I

brake the car. He feels I am riding both accelerator/and brakes going

down

the road and cannot feel that I am doing this. No way. These brakes

should

last 4-5 years easy. Unfortunately, though I have ruined many brake

pads/rotors this way and the only thing I can relate it to is my splints

and

the way I am braking, maybe due to loss of sensation. It really is a

mystery. However, I would like to know from the group any answers to

this question - how many of you that drive with your splints on have had

a problem with your brakes going bad. I really want to see if there are

others out there who have experienced the same problem -- gee, I hope I

am not alone.

Thanks.
