Guest guest
Well , I don't have AFOs, but just inshoe orthotics, and buy an 8EE to accommodate the orthotics and my size 6C feet. I thought I was wearing clown shoes at first, they felt so big, but the orthotic gives my foot room to spread out in the shoe while walking. Speaking for my orthotics, even my feet ached at first - weeks, after wearing the shoes and orthotics and I was forever calling the orthotist with " is this supposed to be happening " . He encouraged me to take my shoes off frequently during the day and do the tennis ball exercise...it relaxes the feet. I also do not wear socks with my shoes, so my feet really have 'room'! Guess you could go and try on a B width and see what it feels like...but all this takes time as feet get used to new things. ~ Gretchen
