Hi, I've heard about those horror stories. & nbsp; I have had severe asthma since

childhood, so, when scoli showed up in 1964, surgery was out due to risk of

respiratory infection if I had to lay in bed for six months. & nbsp; I'll bet

you're glad that's over with! & nbsp;

Sorry my reply is mixed with the other email. My orginal mail stops at the

brace for 6 months. I am interested in hearing from anyone who had surgery in

Toronto around that time. Because I had just turned 16 I could not have it

done in Sicks Chikdrens Hospital so Dr Hall operated on me in Arthritic and

Orthoapeadic Hospital in Toronto. I would love to talk to anyone from around

that time frame who has the Harrington Rods and had Dr Hall as a surgeon.

Hello d.durand56,

Just noticed that you had your surgery in Toronto in 1967. I had mine there

in 1973. Do you still live in Canada? If so, would you mind contact me

privately, mad.monk@... as I am trying to get a group of fellow Canadian

scoliosis together to exchange information, Canadian scoliosis history, etc.

I would much appreciate it.
