Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I posted a few days ago, and received a few replies. But, I am looking to hear from anyone who has had a surgery in which the bones in your toes are fused together in order to correct pain caused by hammer toes. I am scheduled to have the surgery soon, and still have some anxieties about it that I am seeking to soothe...or perhaps even back out at the last second. A Neurologist recommended and referred me to a podiatrist who will perform the surgery, so it must be ok. The Neurologist informed me that others with CMT under go this procedure quite often. I obviously haven't done my homework, but am most interested in individual experiences and testimonies. If you have had this operation, or even have considered it at some point, if you would be so kind to share your experience, knowledge, thought process...whatever....it would be much appreciated. Thank you! Mamie
