Guest guest Posted July 12, 2002 Report Share Posted July 12, 2002 Yes, , I am especially excited, not only because this research is so far advanced, but if nerves can be reinnervated, it will help so many people with CMT. AS that article stated, the current study will end in the fall. Maybe then human trials will become a reality, and yes, I would go and participate, even if it is double-blind with placebo. I will be writing to Dr. Sahenk over this weekend so see if I can find out anything else. It would be so amazing for me that in my lifetime of CMT where once I was told I was hopeless(!) to actually having this new treatment that spurns reinnervation.
