You need to change Doctors! Any Dr. worth a grain of salt would have sent your

son to see a pediatric Ortho. If you have to prove anything to him then that

should scream at you that you need a new Dr.

Please check out Shriners! Scoliosis only gets worse with time.

information and experiences that you and or your child have to go through, know

that you are not alone, i will let everyone know what i will do, i am going to

call his Dr. in the morning because he doesn't even know of this yet, he has

only been asking for blood test from my son, and i had to go elsewhere to find

out for sure, now i can prove to his Dr. and show him the ex-rays and tell him

how i found out and that i had to look further, this reminds me how i also had

to look elsewhere with my other 19 year old son when he was 12, he was diagnosed

with a brain tumor, when all along his Dr. was also saying it was only the flu,

i had to learn the had way.I guess sometimes we have to do our own research to

get to where we are today. for our sake or our children's sake. anyhow to get

back to all of who wrote back to me with info, thank you i will look into this

as soon as tonight. I will get back on here to give a follow up later. Thank you

Hi everyone! well, as told earlier,i would come back with the Dr.'s chek up with

my son, yesterday i went into his Dr. with my son and showed him the printout

from the Chiro. and he read through it and didn't bother looking at the cd of

his xray's only asked me to take some more xray's but a full body scan, but he

also told me he was already aware of my son with scoliosis because it showed a

mild case of scoliosis at the age of 2 with his xrays then, but he didn't even

bother telling me because he said it so mild at the time, well i wish he would

of told me then because at least i would have done something then, that's why i

tell you, these Dr.'s are all based on book's and the computer, he had to excuse

himself several times during the visit to run to the computer for more info and

then would come back and handed me a printout about scoliosis, i was really

frustrated with this Dr. very ignorant! all this time i kep going to him

spending money on Dr. visits and co pay telling him about the pain in his leg's

and feet, and all along he knew what the possiblities were, but not mention it

to me once until i brought it up, what does this tell you? anyway he did refer

my son to the Orthopedics, let's see what they will do for him, until then i

will see, yesterday my son woke up to tired legs again, first thing in the

morning, i just wish that the Dr.'s would of told me about this when he was

younger with it, no matter if it was very little or mild, it would of still made

a difference with me maybe not to them, so you see you should alway's ask for a

copy of your test result's and not just take it from word of mouth! I serious, i

am upset that they kept this from me. oh well we are here today and at least i

am doing something about it. Thank you
