Has anyone had a spinal tap after having Harrington Rod implant

surgery..i know I could have an epidural b/c of the scar tissue..so how

can I possibly have a spinal tap?

Hi

I have harrington rods and am fused from T1 to L4.  They wanted to do a spinal

tap on me and when they realised the extent of the fusion, they advised that

they would have to do it from my neck!!! They would have to get a neuro to do it

because of where they would have to go in - thank god they decided not to do

one!!!
