I believe what you are trying to say is hiatus hernia. I have had that for

years, long before my scoliosis was confirmed, but it may well have been

happening then. I find if I take a ginger tablet first thing in the morning

before I eat anything it helps. I also take Nexium before dinner times.

I have not made a decision yet on my op as I am waiting to have a CT angiogram

to see what state my heart is in.

Thanks for reading my mind. The swallowing could be linked to scoliosis or it

might not be. I was trying to suggest another possibility to look at. Llweyn
