I have not had DNA testing, but the neurologist performed the nerve conduction test. I have Type I. I have had soft tissue surgery performed on each of my feet; it has been quite successful so far. My hands are withered looking and weak. As a child, I was diagnosed with scoliosis. My low back bothers me, but I usually go to a chiropractor once a month for an adjustment. For me, it really helps. Again, welcome to our group and I appreciated you introduction. Texas
