Guest guest
Welcome Anny! Congratulations on your results from eating healthier and exercising. That's great to hear. Looking forward to reading your posts. Kerry I joined this list awhile back - I think Carolyn posted omethin about it in a check in we were on at VF? Anyway, I am finally getting around to an intro. I am Anny, I live in Australia. I returnen to consistent working out and healthier eating about 5 years ago and have lost over 60 lbs. I still have about 8lbs to o to my frst goal, and then we'll see. I've done a lot of workouts but I always seem to fall back on Taebo, and Turbo Jam and some FIRMS. Right now I am on a Taebo kcik and am seriously thinking about ordering Taebo Amped. Thanks for letting me join the discussion! Guest guest
Welcome, ! You can't get any fresher than growing your own food! Plus, it will be a great experience for your children. Biointensive gardening is a wonderful way to build healthy soil as well as to yield much from a small space. http://www.growbiointensive.org/ You may find information about chicken tractors helpful: http://gladstone.uoregon.edu/~nfantasi/Chicken%20Tractors.htm http://www.amazon.com/Chicken-Tractor-Permaculture-Guide-Healthy/dp/0962464864 Also, www.eatwild.com is a great site which lists many studies on the health benefits of grass-fed meat. Hope that helps! lisa@... --------------------------- >>>snip We are planning on getting some chickens this spring (we can only have three in this city) and we look forward to making the hen coop as well as eating the eggs! Guest guest
Hi, I am Roxanne, mom to 9 year old son - mercury toxic and chemically sensitive. I was part of this group just over a year ago and am back. We have been detoxing our son for three years (viruses, pesticides, tylenol, antibiotics, etc.), chelating for four years and ongoing hyperbaric.I recently had the pleasure of spending a l/2 hour with Kirby while he was being interviewed for a documentary on mercury -- having just given a two-hour presentation based on his book at an integrative medicine/biological dentistry conference in Arizona. I had the good fortune of having the only copy of his book so I was invited to attend. I see there are a couple of other parents from my area whom I have met in the past year as well. Happy to be here.Roxannep.s. Although the sender address indicates , that is my daughter in whose name the email account was originally set up before we decided to change it to mine. Sorry for the confusion. Bored stiff? Loosen up...Download and play hundreds of games for free on Games.
Guest guest
how would you discover this group ? Usually I assume you would use a searchengine and/or follow links from webpages and find the forums fluwiki etc. When you're already member at other -groups, you might use the -groups search for keywords. That's how I found the group. Well, I found another group first but after a few weeks someone posted a link to this one. Some more weeks later someone mentioned fluwiki and I searched and found it. Then it was easy to find the other forums. That was in fall 2005, it could be different now. Lots of links from webpages and lots in the archives. This group is still relatively unknown, not much linked to, I think. There is some merit of mailing lists over forums, although most posts and threads and discussion is easier to follow in forums, IMO. When the internet gets problems in a pandemic, mailing lists might be less vulnerable - and we could still use individual mails with copies to others

Guest guest
Welcome !:)TurboJam TurboJam TurboJam:DIts fun kickboxing not serious at all but a really good workout. Steer clear of Dance off the inches Cardio Blasting Party if u dont like latin dancey ones. I like YBB but sometimes Gillian and Teigh can be out there but yea, the workouts are good. I love the walk away the pounds stuff by leslie sansone too and as always , a ton of workouts can be previewed on www.collagevideo.com.If anything tweaks your fancy you can come back here and ask about it - chances are someone here would have done the workout and could tell you more about it :)Happy ta have you here!Kris. Bieg <fitmom76@...> wrote: Hi everyone, I just joined :-) My name is , I'm 30, full-time mom at the moment, so I'm looking to start working out with videos again. My collection shrank dramatically since my move to the US from Europe a few months ago, since my favorite workouts were on PAL VHS and I had to leave them behind. So now I'm looking to replace them with someting new and hopefully equally good. In that spirit, I bought Yoga Booty Ballet before Xmas and I have to admit I sjust cannot get into it. I think the workouts are good but I just don't enjoy the style of the instructors, I think it's a very personal thing and varies from person to person. If anyone is interested in a trade, let me know ;-) Meanwhile, I'd love to get some recommendations on any of the following: - dance workouts (hip hop ok, chacha and salsa not) - cardio + body weight or resistance bands workouts - my absolute favorite was Tone it up! by Kari , but unfortunately it0s not available on DVD TIA and I hope to get to know you all soon! Guest guest
HI ELISA WELCOME. i never really wanted to try yoga booty ballet myself. i saw the informerical and just didn't think it was anything i would do so why spend that much money. you are right though, personal preference. but i hope i can help you with other suggestions. for dance cardio-dance of the inches has released a series of pretty good videos. i own the first two (15 min. express and calorire blast party) both excellent workouts, also i like 10 min. solutions fat dancing mix, quick fix hip hop cardio(very broken down and well cued), i just picked up body and soul fitness ultimate dance workout which is very intense but pretty funky, prevention dance it off(same instructor as 10 min. solution but different dance methods not just hip hop styled), and believe it or not carmen elctra's striptease. i treat it like an interval workout and work through the breakdowns as core cardio low impact and the faster paced run throughs as my bursts. i am waiting for some latin ones from netflix so i will review them when i do them. now when you say cardio + resistance do you mean in the same workout like a firm type deal where they blend cardio and weights. b/c those are a great place and they show modifications. i love the new shape bikini camp workouts b/c they also blend cardio and weight/resitance band work in 30 min per workout and each dvd has multifple workouts. (check http://www.deepdiscount.com for some great fitness dvd deals, when they have a sale we will pass the code around too). i also like resitance workouts with karen voight, kathy smith, cathe friedrich, tamilee webb, chris freytag, P90's tony horton, and a range of others.(i have lot LOL). all will offer just cardio workouts, just resitance workouts, or a combination of both methods for maximum workout in minimum time frame. if you live in an area that gets fittv(digital cable and satilitte carry this station) you will find some great fitness workouts on their like all-star workouts have a different style workout with a different video fitness trainer, also older cathe's(nice way to try before you buy),caribbean workout(i have a few i picked up in the $5 bin at wal-mart),get in shape with sharon mann, and eye-candy favorite amongst the ladies gilad-he is also another good one to try resistance training with. great stuff. for some more ideas, baragain watches and all that http://www.videofitness.com is a favorite here. you can also read reviews from other exercisers about other videos. i hope i helped you some in my long winded answer LOL welcome again kassia Bieg <fitmom76@...> wrote: Hi everyone, - dance workouts (hip hop ok, chacha and salsa not) - cardio + body weight or resistance bands workouts - my absolute favorite was Tone it up! by Kari , but unfortunately it0s not available on DVD TIA and I hope to get to know you all soon!
