I have 3 married daughters and 1 daughter in law. 22 grandchildren already. They all nursed their babies longer than I ever wanted to, and didn't feed solids until they started grabbing off their plates and yelling GIVE ME THAT FOOD. They were all healthy

Babies. I wish I could buy each of them a vitamix. Wouldn't that be grand.

Forgot to mention most of these babies were born at their homes with a midwife.

Another introduction-

Hi everyone,

I have been using my new Vitamix every day for almost 2 weeks now!  I bought it at Costco two Sundays ago, made chicken tortilla soup within hours of setting it on my counter, and I make green smoothies every morning.   I love the Vitamix, but I am more excited to be eating more whole foods and learning from all of you.  Thank you so much for all that you take the time to share- especially Lea Ann.

Spinach, carrots, yellow squash, zucchini, and all varieties of cabbage all work great to add to the fruit smoothie and not taste like yucky veggies. Have fun with it!

My daughter is having a baby in 4 months and I plan on making all the baby food

for her. It's just so much healthier than the jar items. also meat in a jar kind

of grosses me out.

Welcome Hannah. I am glad you found us. Iodine saved my life. :) It has also helped the health of my hubby and 2 children as well.

Hello all, I'm Hannah and I live in New Zealand and I joined after I got intrigued with messages I read on another group about the use of Iodine when someone has thyroid cancer. I was diagnosed with it almost 5 years ago, and when I read the story on 's blog about the 10 year mark, it was like I was reading my own story!Anyway I have only just started my Iodine search and wanted to introduce myself, I hope I can learn a lot and who knows maybe start to feel a bit better in the not too far future!Hannah

I use spinach, cabbage, zuchinni, kale in all of my smoothies. Then I add an

apple, orange and frozen mixed fruit. I also use 100% red grape juice

concentrate. We all love those smoothies.

My name is , and I too am a new Vitamix owner. I purchased my unit from

Costco a few weeks ago. I get email alerts for new messages from members and

enjoy reading them every day. I purchased the Vitamix to help my family and I

eat healthier. I was struggling to fit two or three servings of fruits and

veggies into my day, but now I get more than that with my daily green smoothie.

Since purchasing the machine I have had a green smoothie every morning. My wife

loves them so much that she craves them. I have also made peanut butter,

several flavors of ice cream, sorbet, fruit smoothies, tortilla soup, and my

favorite - hummus. I picked up some almonds and cashews today and plan to

experiment with some nut butters. I ordered a dry container and it arrived this

past week. I am hoping to grind some grain and make some bread before the

weekend is over.

Hello ,

I'm not getting any emails from the group into my inbox yet, I was already

wondering if it was just quiet, but then when I went to check today I saw there

were many new messages. I just checked my settings and see it's all go, I should

get them all in my inbox. What could be going on?

Thanks in advance,

Hi. I am Elena. I live in Cupertino, CA. I have 4,5 years

old son with autism diagnosis.

He has some sensory issues and just starting to say a few

words.

We attended Masgutova clinic in February and I am doing

exercises with him.

Hope to learn more about these exercises and how they can

help.Thanks.Elena

Hi, I'm a bit shell-shocked at finding out I have scoliosis. Totally NOT what I

expected. I'm 50, for Pete's sake - wouldn't I have known before now?

I got x-rays of my lower back and hips, because my hips have been really hurting

when I walk - has gotten worse and worse, and has made me reduce how much I walk

any more. I'm really hoping the NP gets me a referral to an ortho who can help

(she said that lifts might help with that. I hope so!)

I joined from the shock, really. Anyone else get dx'd while fully adult? How

did it go?
