Guest guest
I have 3 married daughters and 1 daughter in law. 22 grandchildren already. They all nursed their babies longer than I ever wanted to, and didn't feed solids until they started grabbing off their plates and yelling GIVE ME THAT FOOD. They were all healthy Babies. I wish I could buy each of them a vitamix. Wouldn't that be grand. k -- Re: Fw: Intro I breastfed longer than most of my peers and fed only homemade. I was considered a freak of nature by my fellow OB/Labor and Del nurses, where I worked. Guest guest
Another introduction- Hi everyone,  I have been using my new Vitamix every day for almost 2 weeks now! I bought it at Costco two Sundays ago, made chicken tortilla soup within hours of setting it on my counter, and I make green smoothies every morning.  I love the Vitamix, but I am more excited to be eating more whole foods and learning from all of you. Thank you so much for all that you take the time to share- especially Lea Ann.  - Kathy from Montgomery County, MD

Guest guest
Spinach, carrots, yellow squash, zucchini, and all varieties of cabbage all work great to add to the fruit smoothie and not taste like yucky veggies. Guest guest
Welcome Hannah. I am glad you found us. Iodine saved my life. It has also helped the health of my hubby and 2 children as well. Buist, ND Intro Hello all, I'm Hannah and I live in New Zealand and I joined after I got intrigued with messages I read on another group about the use of Iodine when someone has thyroid cancer. I was diagnosed with it almost 5 years ago, and when I read the story on 's blog about the 10 year mark, it was like I was reading my own story!Anyway I have only just started my Iodine search and wanted to introduce myself, I hope I can learn a lot and who knows maybe start to feel a bit better in the not too far future!Hannah

Guest guest
My name is , and I too am a new Vitamix owner. I purchased my unit from Costco a few weeks ago. I get email alerts for new messages from members and enjoy reading them every day. I purchased the Vitamix to help my family and I eat healthier. I was struggling to fit two or three servings of fruits and veggies into my day, but now I get more than that with my daily green smoothie. Since purchasing the machine I have had a green smoothie every morning. My wife loves them so much that she craves them. I have also made peanut butter, several flavors of ice cream, sorbet, fruit smoothies, tortilla soup, and my favorite - hummus. I picked up some almonds and cashews today and plan to experiment with some nut butters. I ordered a dry container and it arrived this past week. I am hoping to grind some grain and make some bread before the weekend is over.

Guest guest
Hi, I'm a bit shell-shocked at finding out I have scoliosis. Totally NOT what I expected. I'm 50, for Pete's sake - wouldn't I have known before now? I got x-rays of my lower back and hips, because my hips have been really hurting when I walk - has gotten worse and worse, and has made me reduce how much I walk any more. I'm really hoping the NP gets me a referral to an ortho who can help (she said that lifts might help with that. I hope so!) I joined from the shock, really. Anyone else get dx'd while fully adult? How did it go?
