Guest guest
Thank you and others for all your replies. I guess I didn't' explain myself well I am ready in the appeal stage of SSI. I haven't worked in 8 years so I don't qualify for SSDI. My husband just does odd jobs to make ends meet. We one step from the homeless shelter. We in a hotel. The nice people here take a payment of whatever we can give them, then let us make payments. Sometimes it takes my dh 3 days to cover one week rent. He been doing it by the grace of God. We in Michigan he hasn't had a paycheck in 3 years. Anyway, I already was denied ssi.then I fell after just before I got the denial letter. I was allowed appeal on the basis I told them I fell and fractured my back. The fracture is healing but arthritis has set in. I have arthritis all over my body. I am slumped over with the scoliosis I have the upper part. I have the osteroporis in my hips. After I fell everything got worse on the body wise. Recently found out from the pain clinic that I have the fibro disease. After I fell the family doctor sent me to pain clinic and specialist. The specialists that found my other illnesses. My problem is I am getting the run around at Social Security. I call the main number they said I am on appeal with Chicago should be hearing from them shortly. They said to update my records with my new illnesses and doctors call my local office. I call the local office they say you have to talk to Chicago. I call the Chicago ODOR office and I am told I have to be directed to the judges Secretary. The judges secretary has a message phone doesn't call back. When they go do the hearing not sure if I be going somewhere or they have hearing without me, they won't have my updated information because its been over a year. I found out about all these other illnesses within the last few months. I can walk, stand, and sit but its all painful. I can stand for 10 minutes before I have a back spasm. I can sit with about three pillows because of my back and my tail bone pain. When I lay down my arms hurt so I have to put a pillow under my arm that I am leaning on because I sleep on my side. I am all slumped so cosmetically no one going to hire me. I worked fast food and retail in my younger years. My hands now hurt so it be hard to do an online job because of my hands. I use to do some web design but it hurts me to do anything with my hands. My question I was asking if anyone knew if the three diseases or syndromes whatever they are added to the arthritis I have could help me in my appeal. I think kind of answered my questions. I wanted you to know I already in the system. They know about the arthritis and tail bone pain they don't know about the other illnesses. I can 't seem to communicate with Chicago to update my records. Any suggestions? I have no idea if an attorney will even help me. My family doctor doesn't even have time to see me. If I do get in its 15 minutes he not going to fill out papers for me unless I pay $10. I can't afford it right now. I call the office they say he full up or he gone. They stick with the PA who doesn't even know there a test for fibro disease. She said there was no test for it. The other two doctors the specialists might help me with paper work for Social security. One of the doctors has filled out the information already but I was denied. That's where I stand. I wish I could work. I have to take breaks just to write this email. Have a nice day Judy
