Has anyone had an MRI after having a Harrington Rod?

As if scoliosis wasn't enough I now have been diagnosed with breast cancer and

am scheduled to get an MRI on both breasts Monday morning. Today's radiation

techs say " no problem " , are they right? I have a call into Hahnemann Hospital

to the partially retired doctor that did my surgery in 1974 to get his opinion

but am worried I won't hear from him in time. Tried www.mrisafety.com but

couldn't find any reassuring info there either.

If you have been through this safely, please write and let me know.
