A Book Review-Mega Living

Yesterday,I finished a book”Mega Living”by Robin Sharma of “The monk who sold his Ferrari fame. This book contains 30 days step by step program to a perfect life. This book also contains 200 master secrets for Mega Living.

I’m trying to highlight the major strategies taken up by the author and am also trying to co-ordinate those strategies with the wisdom of our ancient Rishis:

In this book ,auther has emphasized on a concentration building exercise in which you have to stare uninterruptedly on a flame for 15 minutes. This exercise was taught in ancient India as Trataka.

Similarly, the author has laid emphasis on the power of Sound. He says that by keeping your vocal cords healthy, you can maintain your general health. In ancient Indian practices, the Yagyas were performed wherein Vedic hymns or mantras were recited while looking constantly at the flame. So,the YAGYA helps in enhancing your concentration alongwith strengthening your general health(via vochal chords). Moreover,BHRAMRI PRANAYAMA also exercises our vocal chords a little bit for our overall wellness.

Author has also emphasized to choose what you eat because your thoughts, your moods depend a lot upon what you eat.SANKHYA DARSHAN also states”ANNMAYATVASHRUTEH MANAH”which means that your mind is the outcome of the food you eat.

Author has also dealt with Visualisation, habit of writing,Goal Setting and many other stress relieving techniques in this small book. All those interested in these topics must read this book.

Good Dear Mr.Mukul

This is the soothe of life

Now Instead of staring to a flame for 15 minutes if one closes his /her eyes for 15 minutes and stares to the illuminous flamelike vigorous vista of your beloved God the results would come superpowered. As what "Geeta - Granth"says.
