Guest guest
As for numbers... I don't believe there is one number which is the answer to everything (btw, I did post about the film Pi... that's about some sort of number which is the answer to everything ) anyways... my personal number of freedom is 49 (7x7) because I got rid of school by freeing myself with a mediocre 7, for 7 subjects, total 49 points, after 7 years of hell (of which one year, the first of the second school, was quite ok, so actually, 6 years of hell). Also 14 (7+7) is a favourite of mine. 69 has to do with combining opposites yin-yang (not necessarily sexual ) there's one number, which an online friend of mine has encountered several times, it seems to be of importance, it's 689 (yin-eternity-yang) See here: http://angeldustrial.com/sphere/project-sphereIndex.html Then there's II (2 or 22) which for me has to do with love, soul- kindredness, partnership, just as the runesign X (gebo) etc. and my personality/life-path number is 1 (although I think I have slightly bigger problems than just dependency, hmpf), to check out your own personality number, see here: http://www.astrology-numerology.com/num-lifepath.html As for the purpose of life... I am happy you mentioned one can find out at a later age! I was starting to loose hope! :x I have/had many dreams, but manage hardly anything concrete... if anything concrete, it didn't last or it blocked and didn't go any further... that's how I ended up very insecure and 'lost' when it concerns the purpose of my life... I don't think I'm practical enough or something, maybe I expect too much and then it's disappointing or I fail because I can't manage the practical side of things (the 'how-to-make-it-real')... and then the dream breaks apart and I get depresssed. Does anyone else have this problem?? > I would have thought 49 (7x7). :-) > > Inger > > > Re: the purpose of life > > > > >Ilah: " The answer to life the universe and everything is 42. Guest guest
maYa, I get disappointed when I cannot realize my dreams either. I have so few of them and generallydo not ask much. Most of the time I find it is circumstances or other people that stand as impediments to me getting what I want. But then there are some times when I am my own biggest stumbling block too. The part of failed dreams that tends to depress me the most is when I can see a chain of events begining that will ultimately destroy a dream of mine and there is little I can do to stop it. There is a part of me that can predict small things about the future too, but only the bad things, and when I see these things playing out, it bothers me, because for the bad things to happen is enough. Why do I have to see these things BEFORE they happen and then live through them twice? Yesterday for example, I was very tired after work and just wanted to get home. Truth to tell, I was actually fearful I was going to fall asleep at the wheel. But I instictively " knew " I had to be alert that day because I " knew " that driving was going to be particularly tough. I thought to myself as I exited the parking garage " Let me guess. There will be three cars at the intersection in addition to mine, people crossing all the crosswalks at once, and an old lady using a walker on the street that I am turning on. " I was right. On all counts, beleive it or not. I had to wait three minutes just to get through the first intersection. Five blocks later there was a gigantic truck parked on the right side of the road and up ahead I could see the light was about to change. I thought to myself " As tempting as it is, don't accelerate. A car will pull out of the alley, run in front of the truck and right into your lane. " It happened, and had I accelerated, I would have been hit. I drove the next five miles without incident, but then as I turned off onto a side street, I thought to myself " Don't lull yourself into a false sense of security. A squirrel has it in its mind to do you in. " I did NOT listen to my voice that time and nearly flattened a squireel when it bolted out of some scrub brush on the side of the road and ran straight across the road in front of my car. I missed him, but just barely. When I have dreams and aspirations, I have similar premonitions, but on a different sort of level. It's always " This is what's going to happen to screw up your concentration. " Or, " This is what's going to happen to prevent you from getting what you want. " It's hard to belive that these sorts of things can happen. I will admit it does sound far-fetched. But it's true. These premonitions do happen to me, and it depresses me because it's like a little jab. Like someone saying before I even start on something: " You cannot achieve your goals. I can PROVE you can't. So don't event bother. " Tom Administrator I have/had many dreams, but manage hardly anything concrete... if anything concrete, it didn't last or it blocked and didn't go any further... that's how I ended up very insecure and 'lost' when it concerns the purpose of my life... I don't think I'm practical enough or something, maybe I expect too much and then it's disappointing or I fail because I can't manage the practical side of things (the 'how-to- make-it-real')... and then the dream breaks apart and I get depresssed. Guest guest
I looked at this link http://angeldustrial.com/sphere/project- sphereIndex.html but couldn't see anything there to do with numbers or yin and yang and I did look around that site and some of the links. > > > As for numbers... > I don't believe there is one number which is the answer to everything > (btw, I did post about the film Pi... that's about some sort of > number which is the answer to everything ) anyways... > > my personal number of freedom is 49 (7x7) because I got rid of school > by freeing myself with a mediocre 7, for 7 subjects, total 49 points, > after 7 years of hell (of which one year, the first of the second > school, was quite ok, so actually, 6 years of hell).
