Guest guest
Wounded Warrior Our wound reminds us of our vulnerability We are not made of rubber that cannot be easily scratch We are made of flesh that can be easily cut We are not made of diamonds that cannot be easily broken though the physical body and diamond are both made up of carbon. but our soul can be turned to something more precious than the diamonds, rubies or any precious stones. Our natural weakness can be its strength We are made not of metal for us to feel happiness and aches We are made of flesh that can feel hunger and sufferings If given the choice to have a new heart of whatever material it is made of, Our soul will still prefer a heart of flesh than a heart of stone. A heart that can be wounded by lances or arrows A heart that feels joys, pains or sorrows A heart that beats and can feel the heat A heart that knows love, sacrifice and compassions. A heart that knows when to cry and when to smile In rejoicings and in pains A wounded warrior is better than being a coward in a battle ~Champs Ulysses *Scribbles, happenstance and instances
